Good Morning Sunshine & SAB set CASE

At our team meting this month Marelle had a Make and Take based on one packet of Designer Series paper, one packet of coloured cardstock a packet of neutral cardstock, ink pads, a punch and a SAB set. I took this idea and went with the Good Morning Sunshine papers to create these two cards.
It was hard to resist the little owls poking out through the frames created by the punch. I also made cards using many of the other Designer Series Papers Stampin' Up! sell. Check back soon for more samples or book into my class to come make some.

what's been keeping me busy

It's been so long since my last post, sorry!
I've been flat out making a handbag album for my Mum of photos of Mum and Dad over the years I've been too busy to put anything up here. (and I forgot to take photos of it before I gave it to her on the weekend) It would have been my Dad's 80th birthday on Monday so the extended family went away for the weekend and had a fantastic time celebrating together. He would have been proud of us! Saturday morning we did a dolphin cruise in Nelson's Bay with Boom netting,
we swam and played cricket in the afternoon and then went to the local club for dinner one of my nephews is an apprentice pastry chef and he made this (let's just say our family have been waiting for a pastry chef for a long time and we are really appreciating having one) played silly games like the Chocolate Game and Frog Races a classic game that cost my family $2.43 in the 70's (has anyone else ever seen this game?) and Singstar (thankfully we had our own private function room), the boys didn't quite last the whole night then Sunday morning we had a little Church service on the verandah of one of our cabins. It was over way too fast though - wish it could have lasted a week! Back soon with lots of cards I've been working on.

for everything

Wondering what to spend your money on to get your free Sale-A-Bration set? I know stupid question really - I'm sure your wish list is as long as mine! One that may find it's way on there is this gorgeous set "For everything" in the Summer Mini. It has so many images it's very versatile.
Have you noticed that pink and orange are really in? If you were watching the tennis over the last fortnight you would have seen Rafael Nadal wearing the combo (some would say a brave man). Several years ago I had a dream about pink and orange sandals and in my dream I thought they were the most divine sandals. I went to work and told my colleagues who looked at me questioningly but now I know I was ahead of my time. Strangely pink and orange do work. You probably cant see them on this card very well but there is a layer of orange then pink which I have echoed in the flower with orange dots around the pink petals and in the word thanks. What do you think of the combination of orange and pink?
