scratch 'n sniff

Images © Stampin' Up!® 1990-2008

If only you could scratch the screen and smell how sweet this card smells. The middle flower which looks rough was embossed with a combo of embossing powder and lite jelly powder so smells like raspberries when scratched!
BTW the sentiment used here for Happy Birthday is from the Warmest Regards retiring hostess set and the flower came from last year's S-A-B free sets and is no longer available but I just love it - so get the stamps sets you love while you can!

I've also done Choc 'n Toff polka dots using Polka Dots and Petals available in the new catalogue in April for this card. So YUMM!

Birthday Whimsy S-A-B set

Images © Stampin' Up!® 1990-2008

These are two cards made using the Birthday Whimsy S-A-B set. I CASEd them from my up-up-line Marelle check out her wonderful blog here. The party time sentiment comes from another S-A-B set called Lots of Thoughts. More to come later this week.

I have a goal I am working towards this month in sales and I am very close so I am offering a special gift to anyone who places an order over $100 between now and the 29th Feb.

As well as the free Sale-A-Bration stamp set you can choose any one of these items as a free gift from me. These items are in my tool basket all the time - they would have to be my favourite tools - they are very affordable items that either make card making or cropping so much easier or make a project go from nice to wow!
Below is a shot of my collection - excuse the worn edges and dirty sanding blocks - it's a testament to how much I use them! Don't worry you will get brand new ones!

Choose from Dazzling Diamonds, 2 Way Glue Pen, SNAIL refill, Dimensionals, Stampin' Mist (60mL), Sanding Blocks or a regular sized Stampin' Around Handle.

On top of this you'll go in my Lucky Order Prize draw to win the Hostess Set Terrific Tags - see details above!
So if you've been keen to use one of these products why not get it now for FREE!
I'd love to hear from you!
Email me using the address to the right
(sorry the link isn't working at the moment but I'm sure my most regular visitor/greatest fan/critiquer/repressed scrapbooker (you know who you are!) will help me fix things again next week! Thanks T!).

Back to Pink!!!!

Images © Stampin' Up!® 1990-2008

yes I can't seem to stay away from Pink at the moment...I did a workshop on the weekend for Melissa and Caitlan (hi!) and decorated this photo frame for their hostess gift. I used the Love Matters stamp set (thanks Robyn!) from the Summer Mini which is SO CUTE and the colour scheme from the Petals and Paisley Designer Series paper, which should be returning to circulation in April!
Here's a close up of the friends label...

Can't wait for the new catalogue! There's been a lot of talk about what might and might not be in the new catalogue - as soon as I know I'll be telling! So stay tuned.....

These cards were made with a male receiver in mind.
I just love these colours, they are part of the In Color set for the 2007-2008 catalogue and will not be in the new catalogue that comes out in April.
Of the 6 colours I will miss these two the most,
Buckaroo Blue on the left and Vintage Violet on the right.
They have been teamed up here with Sahara Sand
- such a versatile neutral
and Bravo Burgundy from Rich Regals.
The background features my favourite background stamp, Paisley
and Fresh Fillers.
Then the Terrific Tags hostess set - which you can win from me this month- and the Tidy Alphabet adds the sentiment.

I did this scrapbook page a while ago, in fact, for my friend Marina's party ages ago, but I do love it! My little chunky makes me so happy when he smiles.
I used Seeing Spots to make the background and my own patterned paper which meant I could choose colours to match the photos and Big Deal alphabet to do the heading.

Wild Hearts

Images © Stampin' Up!® 1990-2008

Here is another card using Loves Me DS Paper from the Summer mini and it uses Wild Hearts, the background stamp. I really love it for the fine detail it gives to a background. This card was so easy to make. Pink again though! What's happening to me?

Baby Voucher Booklet

Images © Stampin' Up!® 1990-2008

I made this booklet for my friend who just had her third baby, a little girl, Victoria Rose. I thought about what I would appreciate most in that situation and help came to mind so I'm hoping she cashes some in soon! I was really pleased with how it turned out and it didn't take too long at all really, one afternoon full of interruptions. The Whimsical alphabet is such a lovely one.

DS Paper Challenge

Images © Stampin' Up!® 1990-2008

I set this Challenge for my Group to make a card using Designer Series paper and only 1 stamp. Using the "Loves Me" paper was so easy! It has such gorgeous designs and I don't really even like pink! I had to wear it all through my teenage years for school and try never to wear it again!
I really enjoy using paper as a starting point - it takes the guess work out of choosing a colour scheme.

Yummy Lucky Door Prize

How yum does this look! I saw the idea on the SU! demonstrator website and CASEd it. So cute! I was very happy when I found the pink and white M&Ms that are out raising money for the McGrath Foundation for Breast Cancer research - aside from matching so well I always like supporting a great cause.
